Iamblichus was a neoplatonic philosopher from Syria (245-325 c.e.) and in this work philosophizes on divine magic and its rituals. Modern owner has drawn line through "2006" on title page and inked in "1821," the original year of publication. Wizards Bookshelf first published this facsimile in 1984 and several times thereafter. .
