Best of all, the front wrapper verso bears a finedecorative bookplate signed boldly by Richard Eberhart (Consultant 1959-60), who also dates it 1991 at lower right. Eberhart (1904-2005) published numerous verse volumes over a lengthy career and was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1966 for "Selected Poems, 1930-1965" and the National Book Award for Poetry in 1977 for "Collected Poems, 1930-1976. .
