Jacket mildly edgeworn, with small chips at spine tail. Tight, attractive first edition of this memoir by the illegitimate daughter of the Country Western legend, born just days after his death in 1953 at age 29 -- this copy inscribed huge and bold by the author in blue fineline on front flyleaf: "To: Sharon Tranel / Jett Williams / With Love." In 1952 Young was dating Billie Jean Jones when she caught the eye of Hank Williams, who ended up arranging a double date with Young and Jones. Jones later became the second Mrs. Hank Williams! Young's original transmittal envelope laid in. .
