Attractive later printing (50th thousand) of the first title in this handful of humorous looks at this turn-of-the-century tycoon, who's pictureded standing boldly in tux, top hat and cigar on front board. "Hugh McHugh" was the pseudonym of George V. Hobart (1867-1923) was a once-popular, now-neglected Canadian-American author of dozens of plays, libretto, novels and songs -- including a series of slim novellas featuring brash John Henry. A delightful period piece. .
