Mild edgewear, with boards a tad rubbed and irregularly sunned. Tight and internally quite nice first edition of this oddball anthology of verse, prose and art whose "Gross Receipts.. Will Be Given to Earl Haig's Fund" and whose first number was supposedly published in 1898 on the eleventh birthday of Ratcliffe (1887-1967), an eccentric Yorkshire dialect poet, author, heiress and socialite. Undated, but likely 1925. Notable contributors to this issue include G.K. Chesterton, Lord Dunsany, Harold Munro and Harriet Monroe. .
