Not a "Photograph," but a blue-printed full-page illustration of one page fromDoris Schroeder's book "The Beverly Hillbillies: The Saga of Wildcat Creek" (Racine: Whitman Publishing Co. 1963), a novel with artist's renderings. This scene shows a smiling Elly May in foreground behind the wheel of the Clampett, her stern rifle-wielding father Jed watching her in the background. Above his likeness, Ebsen signs large and bold in blue ink, adding "Jed" beneath." Fun and unusual!.
