AGHA, Zaro (1774 or 76 or 77?-1934) - Signature

Title: Signature
Description: According to this Kurd who claimed to be one of the world's most longevous persons of all time and was supposedly 160 years old when he died, he fought in six wars, met Napoleon, had eleven or twelve wives and 36 children -- medicos contested his true age; around 1930 he was "discovered" and became famous touring the U.S. and Europe billed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." Bold signature in black ink on a heavy stock 4" X 2¼" card, dated by him 27 February 1931 at upper right. Near fine. Mounting traces on verso, which also bears inkstamped "FEB 28 1931." Accompanied by a second, identical card, this one bearing his inkstamped signature and inkstamped fingerprint, dated in miniscule pencil at lower left corner "Oct. 1930" -- with inkstamped date on verso of "OCT - 1 1930." Believe his tale or not, his signature is exceptionally unusual and scarce. .
