Interesting and huge inscription on front flyleaf to the children of Illinois senator Adlai E. Stevenson III: "For Adlai IV / Lucy / Katie / Warwick / from / Herb Block / and / 'Lady J' / with love & love." Handsome calligraphic inscription (black ballpoint) is NOT in Herblock's hand, while he signs boldly in blue fineline. .
