TLS, 1p, 8½" X 11", Grand Junction, CO, 30 November 1918. Addressed to Messrs. Mitchell & Smith of Charleston, South Carolina. Very good. Faintly age toned, with original folds. On letterhead of "The Missionary District of Western Colorado," the prelate discusses conditions of "the will of Miss Margaret Murdoch" with these attorneys, innocently enquiring "Will you kindly advise me at your earliest convenience as to the amount of this bequest?" Signed large and full in brown ink, below which he pens "Acting Bishop of Utah." An uncommon oddity. .
