Mulliken appears in "The Letters of Maxwell E. Perkins") who became a journalist for "Life" and "Time" magazines among others then Deputy Press Secretary for Vice President Nelson Rockefeller in the mid-1970s; above this his future wife Barbara Hanschen from whom he got the book signs and dates it February 1947, the month of its publication. .
