Nice first edition of this study by the "Newsweek" magazine medical editor (1941-61) and author of several medical books (1892-1982), inscribed and signed large and bold in blue ink on front flyleaf: "For Bob Malott, / whose father / tells me, is / 'always tired' / now, come out / of it, Bob -- / Marguerite / Clark." From the library of Robert Malott (1926-2018), noted Chicago businessman and CEO of FMC Corporation, Republican politico and philanthropist. The "father" Clark refers to is Deane W. Malott (1898-1996), educator and at this time president of Cornell University (1951-63). .
