With original transmittal envelope -- addressed, surprisingly, in the hand of his wife Beatrice Straight, who also signs her husband's name above the printed Southfield, Massachusetts return address on envelope verso! Accompanied by an outstanding near fine 10" X 8" glossy black-and-white photograph, a still scene from the 1946 crime Drama "Don't Gamble with Strangers" showing Cookson at center and other cast members gathered around a craps table. A great pair. .
