Thick, bold "July 5 / Dan'l Frohman / Lyceum Theatre / N.Y." in black ink on a buff heavy stock 5½" 5¼" preprinted "penny postcard." Very good. Addressed in his hand on the postage side (cancelled 1934) to Arnold F. Gates (1914-93, noted Lincoln/Civil War scholar). .
