Front board intones in gilt, "The Fate of a Nation Was Decided at Freeport." Subtitle continues, "Containing Addresses Delivered at Unveiling, List of Exhibits Displayed, Account of Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Etc." Much speechifying from notable locals and Lincoln luminaries. .
