While Chafee and Hudson were law professors and discuss war from that perspective, Hall discusses the role of science in future wars -- aviation and dirigibles, water supplies, deadly gasses, etc. Hall (1891-1962) was an educator and chemist who was among the American servicemen assigned to Marie Curie's mobile x-ray unit in World War One; he taught not only at Harvard, but also at Stanford and the University of Wisconsin. Interesting and unusual. .
