Frontispiece, 3 full-page line drawings. Very good/good. Jacket only faintly edgeworn and age toned, with couple of archivally-closed (on verso) edge tears, chip at spine tail and large chip at spine head extending onto upper right of rear panel (about 3" wide); ownership name/address on front flyleaf. A tight and attractive early (not first) printing of this 1910 juvenile fiction, the first in the 4-volume "High School Boys" series (all published 1910). Likely of early teens vintage, as some of the other Hancock volumes noted on rear jacket panel and in rear advertisements date to this period. Still a difficult title to find in nice condition and in a decent jacket. .
