Title: Bull-Dog Drummond Double-Header: Including Third Round, the Final Count
Description: Garden City, The Sun Dial Press, 1937. Hardcover. 8vo. Red cloth with black lettering and pictorial stamping, pictorial dust jacket. vi, 294pp, viii, 296pp. Near fine/very good. endpapers (only) a tad age toned as usual; jacket a bit edgeworn, with spine faintly sunned. A tight and quite attractive reprint of the third and fourth Drummond mysteries (first published in 1924 and 1926). "Two smashing novels in one volume," screams the front jacket panel. "Six feet of brawn and strength with the courage of a real two-fisted fighter, the devil-may-care Drummond stars in two of the most breath-taking, fast-actioned mysteries ever written." The red cloth spine featuring black image of the top-hatted, tuxedo-clad, cigarette-smoking adventurer is pristine and appealing. British novelist McNeile died in 1937, which perhaps occasioned the rerelease of these two titles. .
