Mildly edgeworn and rubbed, with bumped corners; brown cloth tape to joints. Interesting though cryptic edition of these pictorial religious tales for children, entirely in German, without title page (and perhaps thus published) and undated (but circa 1900). Two other similar titles were published by Kaufmann around the same time, each subtitled "Weil ich Jesu Schaflein bin. Ein Bilderbuch fur kleine und grosse Kinder" ("Because I am Jesus's Little Shepherd. A Picture Book for Little and Big Kids") and authored by a Baroness A. Holzhausen-Gablenz -- who we assume is also the author here. .
