Intriguing if frustratingly cryptic closing portion of an ALS -- as is a fragmentary ANS, 1p, irregular 5¼" X 1 3/4" (tipped to slightly larger sheet), n.p. n.y. ["1855" penned minutely in another hand along right border]. Very good. Bold and attractive, the top two lines are partial -- whole reads: "ing it & robbing us / it will be a favor to the [illegible] / Yours truly Geo. F. Magoun. / Mr Quinche comes from Columbian College D.C. .
