Jacket edgeworn and rubbed, with several edge chips; text block moderately age toned as usual. Tight, decent reprint of this 1930 "Novel of Birth Control." Like most Triangle titles, a cheaply produced book difficult to find without age toned text and worn jacket -- but this copy bears choice autograph addition: Tipped to front flyleaf is an addressed envelope with Norris's embossed address, and inside this is a Typed Note Signed from Norris, 1p, 8½" X 11", Palo Alto, CA, 18 May 1931. Addressed to R.D. Trevillian. Very good. Original folds. On personal imprinted letterhead, Norris tells an admirer "I shall be glad to autograph 'Seed,' or any of my other books, for you.." Boldly signed in full. Norris (1881-1945) was a popular novelist and playwright and younger brother of novelist Frank Norris. .
