This copy is no exception, with outer wrapper delicate and chipped and front also bearing numerous homely old tape stains -- but worth preserving, for inside front wrapper bears the pale blue "Private Library" bookplate George P. Hambrecht, noted education official, Lincoln buff and founder of the Lincoln Fellowship of Wisconsin; he notes acquiring this volume in 1922 for $2.00! MONAGHAN 1933. .
