Title: The American Review of Reviews and World's Work: November 1933
Description: New York, The Review of Reviews Corporation, 1933. Paperback. (Vol. LXXXVIII, No. 5). Small 4to. Stiff tan wrappers. 64pp. Numerous illustrations and advertisements. Very good. Minor shelfwear, some rubbing and minor soiling -- overall tight and attractive. Contents include Edward N. Hurley's "They Find It Can Be Done!," P.W. Wilson's "The World Looks at the New Deal," Raymond Clapper's "William Green, Labor's Chief," Roger Shaw's "A Glimpse of Holland -- 1933" and Maurice Leon's "France Again at the Crossroads." Discrete ex-library, the only markings being a couple of slight inkstampings. Editor-journalist-historian Shaw (born 1857) founded this long-running monthly in 1891, and it pursued a broad agenda covering U.S. and world political, economic and social issues for decades. .
