Titled "The Choice in Asia -- Democratic Development in India," this is the future president's impassioned argument for an economic aids program resolution that he and Senator John Sherman Cooper from Kentucky had proposed. It got nowhere in 1958, but managed to pass in 1959. An interesting, rather uncommon piece. .
