Bears a nice autograph addition: Tipped to the front flyleaf is a Typed Note Signed, 1p, 7¼" X 10½", Larchmont, NY, 1969 March 5. Addressed to noted Lincoln scholar Arnold F. Gates (1914-93). Near fine. "Lincoln Herald" (which Gates served as book reviewer) chitchat, closing with, "Is there any really outstanding Lincoln scholar in the New York area?.
