Accompanied by a superb original 1947 black-and-white glossy news agency photograph (International News Photo), 8½" X 6½". Original mimeographed newsprint text sheet present and tipped to verso (as issued). Titled "Discuss Atomic Liaison Question," this text reads in part: "The Joint Congressional Committee sought today to devise some method for keeping the doors of the newly-confirmed Atomic Commission open to military and legislative liaison. Atomic Commission chairman David E. Lilienthal, left, is shown as he called on Senator Bourke B. Hickenlooper.. chairman of the Joint Congressional Atomic Committee.."
