Large, bold, attractive "To Mr. / Preston Sawyer / Very Sincerely / Ezio Pinza / S. Francisco 1930" boldly penned in black fountain pen on a pristine cream-colored 6" X 3 3/4" autograph album leaf. Near fine. At right center, a 1" X 1½" magazine photograph of Pinza has been neatly affixed. A superb example of this rather uncommon signature. From the collection of noted collector Preston Sawyer (1899-1968), California journalist and historical writer. .
