Description: New York City commercial artist whose noted works include "Three Sentinels," "A Black Jester," and a 1944 mural, "Psychiatric Patients at Forest Glen," now hanging at the National Museum of Health and Medicine in Washington, DC. Signed First Day Cover, 6½" X 3½", cancelled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 5 December 1973 and with "First Day of Issue" boldly stamped. Green preprinted 10-cent "U.S. Postage" (featuring the Liberty Bell) at upper right. Fine. No ornamental cachet at left; no distracting recipient's name/address. At upper left, in black ballpoint, McMillen signs boldly. With small portion of original transmittal envelope. .
