Signed First Day Cover, 6½" X 3½", cancelled in Tuscumbia, Alabama, on 27 June 1980 and with "First Day of Issue" stamped. Fine. Single 15-cent "Helen Keller Anne Sullivan" stamp at upper right. No decorative cachet at left; no recipient's name/address. Lash signed boldly in full at lower left in blue ballpoint, beneath the typed statement "Joseph P. Lash, author of the book, Helen and Teacher." Quite handsome. .
