Bold and handsome "Clinton S Quin / Bishop of Texas / 7-10-1929" in blue fountain pen on a pale green 4" X 4½" slip, n.p. Near fine. A small magazine portrait of a very fierce and scary looking Quin is affixed at lower right (not affecting text). Unusual -- nice vintage piece from shortly after his appointment. This was signed at a Chautauqua meeting where Quin gave a lecture. .
