Partly-printed "Manifest of the Cargo of the Flat Boat No. 47," listing a cargo of 14 casks of bacon, 75 kegs of lard and 5 tons of bacon, being taxed by the city $2.34. On the verso is a printed "Extract from an Ordinance passed by the Council of the Second Municipality of New-Orleans, June 21, 1842." Interesting bit of pre-Civil War Louisiana maritime history. .
