Description: This popular radio show singer made several films ("The Big Broadcast," 1932, and "The Street Singer," 1937) that were especially popular in England. PS (photocopy), 3" X 6", n.p. n.y. Fine. Photocopy (which includes Tracy's facsimile signature) of a head-and-shoulders portrait of a young Tracy at the height of his fame, captioned "Presented by the Makers of Ex-Lax.." sent out by Tracy to an admirer, boldly signed by him in blue ballpoint on the blank lower margin. (There's an endorsement that many a celebrity would pass up.) Undated, but a fine later life example. With original transmittal envelope (cancelled 31 January 1990), on which Tracy rubberstamps his image singing and playing accordion (captioned "The Street Singer") at upper left and pens his New York return address on verso. .
