First edition, limited to 500 copies, of this volume in series editor Angel Flores' "Dragon Series," which included volumes by William Carlos Williams, Yvor Winters, Romain Rolland and other noteworthies and describes this book as "Exciting dialogues on unusual aspects of literature by the well-known biographer of Strindberg and Schopenhauer." Jacket is worn but volume is bright, tight and lovely. Delightfully corny front wrapper graphics depict a stylized standing gent lecturing a bearded seated gent as a third monocled gent rubs his chin. V. Jerauld McGill (1897-1977) was an American novelist and biographer with a philosopic bent. Quite scarce in the jacket. .
