Da wir vor einigen Wochen auf Sizilien weilten, und Teile der beschilderten Strecke abfuhren, war mir klar, das Erste was zu Hause bestellt wird. Ist dieses Buch. Wenn man dieses Buch liest, durchblättert, die Fotos anschaut, dann wird einem sehr klar, dass dieses Buch den Autobuchpreis erhalten und verdient hat. Die vielen Fotos, auch teilweise farbig, zeugen von der Zeit als Autorennen noch mehr als nur im Kreis fahren waren. Es fehlt nur der Benzingeruch der gezeigten Boliden, aber mit etwas Fantasie, kriegt man den hin. Auch als Porsche Targa Fahrer ist dieses Buch ein Must. Also jedem Autofan zu empfehlen. Das Buch ist ein Zeitzeuge einer nur noch als historisch und touristisch existierenden Targa Florio.
