Densely crowded together, a plethora of minature figures expectantly faced the museum's visitors and prevented them from gaining a closer view of the museum's permanent collections. The red-brown hues of this mud zone echoed the army of clay figures at Cuxhaven, covering an area of 2.5 kilometres. Here, 100 life-size figures looked to the horizon and dominated the coastline. An interview between Antony Gormley, Klaus Theweleit and Monika Theweleit-Kubale is included, exploring the artist's use of space and also touching on the themes of "host" and "field".
