Description: Paris, Furne et Cie, 1863. 4 Volumes, H leather with marbled paper, 5 raised bands and gold lettering on spine, marbled endpapers, prev. owners name on Vol. 1 and 2 dated 1866 in brown ink, Vol. 1 has a portrait of Moliere by Hopwood and Olivier, this volume has the front joint broken off cleanly, each volume has some rubbing/edgewear and some general wear, generally though they are very nice, each is date stamped 1863 on the spine and there is a "..hn Bumpus, Oxford St" stamp on the corner of each. This is a nice set and the contents are sound with a little browning on the page edges.
