Title: The Site Of The Globe Playhouse of Shakespeare.
Description: London, Roworth & Co., 1910 Signed by the Author on the title pge, on title verso it is written in ink "This copy was presented by the author to G. H. Hutchings, Dean's verger, Southwark Cathedral, from whom I bought it. E.M" H/B olive green bds with gilt lettering to spine, VG, sl. surf. wear on rear, fep verso has an article pasted in entitled 'Globe Theatre' from The Penny magazine February 16 1833, pull-out plan (edge rubbed and small closed tear, not in plan itself), and pull-out plate, other b/w plates, plans and diagrams through text, references hand-written at rear, names of prev. owners on front ep including that of E. Martin, who seems to have added the two newspaper insets to the book, and notes as to contents, an inset article by The Mirror newspaper at the bottom of which is hand-written 'Bought on a stall in York Rd, Lambeth SE, signed EM, pp54. A very interesting and scarce title.
