In a very good condition. ~ First edition. The ambitious chronology of events starts in 50 BC with Julius Caesar forcing Batavia to accept Roman rule. However, it soon proceeds with annual leaps up to the 14th century with events examined more thoroughly. From there on, battles and campaigns are described in great detail, very often with a reports on daily developments. It ends on November 1840 with the coronation of Willem II. Includes extended index and a chapter, a sketch of history in a nutshell. Extremely rare. F-4 OUT .
