Tomus I: Flandricorum Annalium Liber I-XVII. 6 (of 8: title missing), 427, (1: blank), (xviii: 'Index', (ii: with large printer's mark (15x14 cm)pp. With woodcut on first page and large woodcut headpiece. - First quire inner- and lower margins repaired; 1 leaf (287-288) margins partly repaired. - Tomus II: Rerum maxime memorabilium in Brabantia, Flandria,.... 187, (1:blank) pp. Including nice title with large woodcut-border (small hole, not affecting the woodcut, restored). - Last quire (6 leaves) seriously waterstained. - For both volumes: old annotations and old underlinings in ink; margins of 3 leaves clumsy repaired; small brown spots in places; paper partly age-toned, some leaves with marginal waterstain. - Old ownership inscription on first leave and label of Albert Spitaels. - First woodcut-title missing, but otherwise an acceptable copy of a rare 1580 edition, one of the 5 editions held by 21 WorldCat members worldwide.
