Halfleather, with leather cornerpieces, spine with gilt ornament and 2 title-labels; covers marbled paper; marbled endpapers (spine restored in places; hinges damaged but still holding strong). The orignal red-painted wrappers conserved. Nicely engraved illustrations within decorated borders on the wrappers: allegorical illustration with Hercules and farm work on 'Erstes Heft' and resp. 2 different knot of soldiers on 'Zweites Heft. (iv),124 and (iv (of vi?), 128 pp. and 4 pages advertisement. - Small stamp verso first title of the 'Carl Alexander Bibliothek, Eisenach'. Gewicht/Weight: 400 grs.
