Description: c. 1825. Single sheet descriptive handbill, 265 x 180 mm. This item may have at some time been mounted and will bear traces on the reverse of adhesive or removal of mounts. Probably a brief guide to the church issued during the incumbency of Rev. Joseph Allen who was granted the living by Earl Spencer from 1808 to 1834 before moving on to the Bishopric of Bristol> the census of 1821 is mentioned in the text. The church was substantially rebuilt in 1775 - 7, preserving the original painted east window.
