That's why St. Joseph's possesses a large collection of portraits. Other pictures were made for medical purposes. St. Joseph's archives also contain some pictures of mentally retarded girls, although the institute was dedicated to the education of boys. Some of these portraits are published in this section, as well as portraits of physically disabled, as during a certain period the institute admitted them as well. - Good copy
