There they had been working the land, caring for crops and animals, year-round for the last two decades. The three found it a much more rewarding way to spend their sunset years than sitting in an armchair. Weinand visited in the beginning to buy vegetables, but eventually started to take photographs as well. A selection of over a hundred of these idyllic images is published here, along with short commentary by Weinand, who viewed the experience has the fulfilment of an old childhood longing to again play in the garden. - Fine copy
