The author has identified the oriental sources used by Schnell for his lacquer work and the decorations he made on Böttger stoneware for the Meissen porcelain factory and has produced a concordance of 170 designs used by the Schnell workshop allowing attributions to be made for both lacquer furniture and Böttger wares.
