The author, A.D. Brankston, brought to the subject a rare combination of taste and enthusiasm, documentation from Chinese sources and knowledge gained in the field. Although its plate reproduction cannot match today's standards, Early Ming Wares of Chingtechen neverthless remains an important pionnering work. Out of print for over a decade, it is now reprinted by Oxford Univerity Press in the Oxford for Asia Studies in Ceramics series. Very Good/Dust Jacket Included.
