The remaining interior is in very good condition.; The Vehbi Koç Foundation's Sadberk Hanim Museum opened in 1980. The core of the museum's collection at the time consisted of objects that Sadberk Koç, the late wife of Vehbi Koç, had personally gathered with painstaking love in the course of her long life. In time, the collection grew and was enriched with the addition of purchases and new donations. With the purchase of the Hüseyin Kocabas collection, in 1983, Sadberk Hanim Museum attained a status of premier importance becoming Turkey's first privately-owned museum. Today the museum shelters more than twelve thousand objects in its two wings. It presents visitors with the vast panorama of Anatolian civilizations, beginning with archaeological works ranging from the 6th millenium BC, to the late Byzantine period and continuing with Islamic art and objects made for the Ottomans in Europe, the Near East, and the Orient. Dioramas of ethnographical material bring bygone customs and ceremonies to life again. Very Good/No Jacket.
