Description: Buschmann, Antwerp,, 1923. 8vo., First Edition, with title in red and black, 11 tipped-in illustrations in red by Pennell, neat signature on front paste-down, page-edges lightly browning; boards gilt, small tear at extreme head of backstrip, blank lower outer corner removed from one leaf (not affecting text), a good, firm copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter browned, frayed at edges and wanting most of backstrip. Pennell's pen drawings first appeared in Devinne's 'Christopher Plantin and the Plantin Museum' published for the Grolier Club in 1888.
