One of the outstanding biographies of the twentieth century, the trilogy was first published by Cambridge (1933-38) in plain typographical dustwrappers. When Collins secured the right to reprint, maps were produced for the second volume and the production enhanced with striking coloured dustwappers. COMPLETE SETS ARE SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
