The set comprises: Vol. I: 1939-1942; Vol. II: 1943-1945. The English edition, translated by Masters, was revised by the authors from the German original and edited by Anthony Watts. Probably the most detailed account of the war at sea in all theatres. 'Heavily compressed and does show some German bias' (Law).
