Description: HMSO,, 1914. 8vo., newly and strongly bound in red cloth, gilt back, ORIGINAL PRINTED WRAPPERS AND ALL ADVERTISEMENTS PRESERVED, a very good, bright, clean copy. At the outbreak of the Great War the 1912 edition was re-issued with amendments to 1 August 1914; this Great War issue remained in force throughout the conflict. The rapid expansion of the army forced a 1916 reissue but without major revision. Given the numbers issued this edition is unaccountably scarce. This copy is now preserved for the future in a new cloth binding.
