The best modern edition of Churchill's account of the conflict he himself did so much to bring to a victorious conclusion. The work was first published between 1948 and 1954; here the text is that of the author's revised version of 1949. The slip-cases for this work are extremely tight and therefore often found with split edges. Cohen A240.32.
